Shadow Work For Beginners
Adapted from the original workbook by Dr. Nicole LePera (The Holistic Psychologist), with permission.
Shadow work isn't about finding your "dark side" for the aesthetic. It's about working out why you get irrationally annoyed at people who are confident, why you still hear your dad's voice when you make a mistake, and why the thing you're proudest of is often tangled up with the thing you're most afraid people will find out about you.
This workbook walks you through it properly. Where shame comes from versus guilt, how to spot your shadow showing up in what you scroll, who you judge, and what you post, prompts to trace it back to childhood without turning it into a therapy session you didn't sign up for, and affirmation work to actually integrate what you find instead of just naming it and moving on.
It's not a replacement for therapy, and it doesn't pretend to be. It's a proper starting point for people who want to understand themselves better before, during, or after they get professional support.
